Occupying the same site for over 300 years, O'Neills is one of a declining number of traditional family run bars in Dublin City Centre.
An excellently situated pub with a magnificent clock over the door, O'Neills is a warren of five or six bars in difenet sized area. The staff are friendly and professional and each day there is a large carvery lunch with about five roasts and some tradional favourites like Irish Stew and bacon and cabbage. All the food is very reasonably priced and the desserts, including home made rhubarb pie are a treat. There is also an extensive A La Carte served daily.
The pub has been in the O'Neill family since the 1920's and is a very popular spot with Tourists, students from nearby trinity College and Dubliners alike. Sandwiches are available all day and on Sunday and Monday evenings there is live music from 9pm 'til closing.
O'Neills is mentioned in just about every guide to Dublin, and with good reason. If you are a visitor it's a must, as a Dubliner it is almost certain you have been here.
Carvery 12 - 10.15 Daily. Also extensive à la carte bar menu. Live traditional music every Mon night at 9pm. Wheelchair access. No children after 9pm. Closed 25 Dec, Good Fri. Directions: On the corner of Suffolk St and Church Lane, opposite the DublinTourist Centre.

Since enjoying a transformation back in March, One Pico is packing them in for what is probably the best value lunch in the City, with two courses on offer for €19.95 and Three for €25. The decor is fab, food brilliant and the value truly surprising. Don't miss it, this can't last forever.
We love Seargrass in Portobello. Sean is one of the city's most talented chefs and is constantly coming up with new dishes and tastes to tantilize. Well now he has done it again with the new Platai Bia menu.
This is one of the best deals we have come across, not least because the items on the menu are not what you expect on a cut price menu - duck, rack of lamb and good fish dishes all appear. Telephone +353 (0) 41 9835410 or e mail info@scholarshotel.com.
