Opening its doors in 2004, Tom Sheridan’s Bar has become an integral part of the Knocknacarra, Salthill and Barna communities and is the quintessential friendly local, and the perfect place to meet with new friends or old friends and just soak up the atmosphere.
Food plays a huge part in Sheridan’s with a menu which was created with two core values in mind: to use fresh, seasonal locally sourced produce wherever possible and to satisfy customers with traditional hearty home cooked dishes. Lunch at Sheridan’s offers a range of tasty sandwiches, salads and hearty mains like daily Roasts and Fish and Chips. Every day chef Martin Ford comes up with tempting specials to compliment the Lunch and Evening menu.
In the evening along with the offerings on the main menu you can also avail of some mouth-watering and pocket-tempting meal deals, such as Steak with all the trimmings, onion rings and a pint for €15.95 or succulent Lemon Sole with a Glass of House Wine for Only €14.95. Pizza lovers will be happy to know that Sheridan’s are offering Stone Baked Pizza with a choice of toppings and a Pint or Glass of wine for only €12.95. Tom Sheridan’s has 3 Bars over 3 levels offering a range of options for their customers. This includes the bar area on the lower floor, the ‘Mezz Area’ and the upper floor restaurant, which re-opened earlier in 2012 as the Balcony Restaurant. A big renovation has seen some changes.
The Balcony compliments the Tom Sheridan’s menu but takes it up a notch giving customers the option of great pub grub in Sheridan’s, or for a special occasion take a walk up the stairs to The Balcony restaurant for something that bit special!
With its luxurious decor, warm atmosphere and of course spectacular balcony you will be guaranteed a very special dining experience. The menu concentrates on locally sourced top quality ingredients like Beef from Mc Geoghs of Oughterard, Galway Bay Seafood and Connemara lamb. This produce is then used to create hearty wholesome meals of the highest standard allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves. More gastro, some pub, Sheridan’s is bloody good.
